Playa Paraiso means 'Paradise Beach' in English - which you may find a little misleading as this resort appears to offer neither of the above.
This is a purpose-built resort, which many brochures decribe as 'developing' or 'up and coming'. Again, you need to read between the lines here.
They could more accurately have written 'building site in the middle of nowhere'. It is just a short drive from Playa de las Americas, but there is nothing really to visit at this resort, other than the hotel in which you are staying and a handful of shops and bars. Instead of a beach, there is a salt-water lido.
